Hello! Let me introduce myself.

I am a creative professional with 6+ years of experience in marketing and design. My strength lies in defining a brand through visual story-telling, with focus on a powerful brand mark, packaging that stands out, a clean and memorable website, and stunning imagery. I have a particular soft spot for brands that prioritize inclusivity and environmental sustainability.
Finding my way to the world of design has not been a straight path by any means, but every step along the way has contributed to giving me the unique, well-rounded perspective that I bring to the table. Growing up as an art kid, I only thought of it as a hobby and never a career path. I started college with plans to be a math teacher, and in my free time learned to use Photoshop and Illustrator to create silly things to make my friends laugh. After realizing that teaching wasn't the right thing for me, I took a hiatus from school to work as a barista, and during that time learned the ins and outs of what goes into running a small business. I stepped into a creative role there, brainstorming new menu items and promotions, and putting together product displays, signage, and packaging. This inspired me to go to business school and pursue a career in marketing. From there on, I found myself working for a string of small businesses and start-ups, where my "marketing manager" roles were really all-encompassing and included a heavy dose of design work. Over time I came to realize that, while I was good at wearing many hats, the only hat I truly loved to wear was Graphic Designer.
I draw design inspiration from nature, geometry, and music, and lean towards a style that is clean, organic, and a little funky. When not working, my time is spent hiking, climbing, reading, gaming, painting, crafting, and enjoying the beautiful city of Seattle.
